Contract For Sale Of Puppy/Dog

I, Tracy Thompson, take a deposit of full amount of puppy/dog of the amount stated below, on the puppy/dog named below.

The deposit is a promise to buy the puppy/dog, and a promise from Elite Petite Poms to hold the puppy/dog.If for any reason the buyer changes his or her mind on the puppy/dog that they have chosen, they may pick another puppy/dog when one is available.  If buyer chooses not to pick another puppy/dog, the deposit will not be returned.  All deposits are NON – REFUNDABLE.

If a puppy is being purchased, the full balance on the puppy must be paid by the time the puppy reaches 8 weeks of age.  If balance is not paid within this time frame, the deposit will not be refunded and Elite Petite Poms regains all rights and ownership of the puppy.

Elite Petite Poms will arrange a pick up time, or a shipping time for the puppy/dog to be transferred to its new home.  If for any reason, buyer cannot pick up the puppy/dog, or if shipping arrangements have to be changed, boarding charges will apply.   After 7 days of boarding, if buyer still cannot pick up, or have puppy/dog shipped, NO monies paid to Elite Petite Poms will be refunded, and Elite Petite Poms regains all rights and ownership of puppy/dog. 

Buyer will have 72 hours after pick up or arrival at airport to have puppy/dog examined by a licensed veterinarian.  In the unlikely event that a health problem with the puppy/dog is discovered and written diagnosis is supplied to Elite Petite Poms from a licensed veterinarian, puppy/dog may be returned to Elite Petite Poms for a full refund of the price of the puppy/dog listed below only.  No shipping charges will be refunded.

NO TRANSPORTATION CHARGES WILL BE REFUNDED.

Under no circumstances will a refund be available after the 72 hours. 

If sold as a show prospect, a replacement is the only option when one becomes available.

There is no guarantee on size of a puppy when puppy is grown.  I try to give my honest opinion on what I think the puppy will be, but it is not a guarantee on size.  All puppies/dogs are sold as pet only, unless stated on this contract.  All puppies/dogs are sold without registration papers, or with limited AKC registration unless otherwise noted on this contract.

The buyer has read and fully understands the terms of this contract and agrees to comply with them.

Buyer will have 72 hours upon receiving puppy/dog in which to have the puppy/dog examined by a licensed veterinarian.  After this time has expired, the seller is not obligated to return the full purchase price.
